SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA might be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it is actually alarmed regarding the higher number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The service issue established for intervention experiences a higher inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the read more Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
